BMW Motorcycle Test-Camp in Spain |
The popular BMW Motorcycle Test-Camp on the racetrack of Almeria and the awesome Roads of Andalusia takes place for the third time and you are able to test all 2012 models exclusively before the regular start of the season.
For 2012 we have lots of new highlights on the agenda.
There will be
several BMW K 1600 GTL and BMW K 1600 GT available for the highway-tours.
New for 2012 is an exclusive BMW K 1600 GTL and BMW K 1600 GT PARADOR-Tour (noble spanish hotels). You will be thrilled!
The offroad tours well be offered in two variants: "Offroad-Light" with the BMW G 650 GS and the BMW F 800 GS or "Offroad-Hard" with 450ccm models. Interested participants with no offroad experience can do some trial-rounds on the area right beneath the racetrack.
In short: There will be even more driving pleasure with even more motorcycles.
The initial point of all activities is once more the paddock of the Circuito de Almeria which will host the track-test of the new BMW S 1000 RR.
All BMW S 1000 RR are equipped with the extras shift assistant, race-ABS + DTC (dynamic traction control).
After the success of 2011 there will also be another edition if the VIP-Event on the racetrack.
Racetrack-Test:
We are guests on the ever-popular Circuito de Almeria. Experienced instructors will show small groups of 6-8 rookie-/advanced-riders the racing line. Experienced riders have the opportunity to put the BMW S 1000 RR to the acid test while driving on their own.
VIP Racetrack-Test:
A three-day-program on the Circuito de Almeria. 15 participants as a maximum per group on the racetrack, an intensive overall service package and exclusive catering let the VIP-Test become a great experience. It is also possible to participate with your own BMW S 1000 RR.
Highway-Test:
In small groups, led by tourguides we will drive the gorgrous, winding roads from the Costa del Sol into the sierras of Andalusia.
Offroad-Tours:
In groups with 8 riders max. and two tourguides you will experience what offroad motorcycle riding can still be today!
The tours are offered in different difficulty-levels on the BMW G 650 GS and F 800 GS models.
Interested non-offroad riders can take trial lessons on an area beneath the racetrack.

Transfers:
As the airport in Almeria is only approached on Wednesday ans Saturday from Germany, the flights go over Alicante or Murcia.
This results in transfer-times between the airports of Alicante/Murcia and the hotel of 2 to 2,5 hours by bus.

The Motorbikes are covered by physical damage insurance. The cost sharing amount is 1.000 EUR for participants riding with instructor.
Only on the racetrack: The cost sharing amount for riders who ride without instructor is 2.000 EUR. This applys also to damages through no fault of one's own.
Is the cost of the damage below the cost sharing amount, only the cost for the actual repair will be calculated.
